COLOURED HEAT
Background and Process
The Final project of my masters studies served the purpose of exploring the ways the difficulty of the situation would influence capabilities of a person being honest with themselves and others around you.
To answer this I set out to make a multiplayer survival game. In which players could choose to work with or against each-other to survive an incoming calamity. Prior to this, you would receive a questionnaire, asking questions relating to gameplay scenarios within the game. In exchange for power, you can reveal your answers to other players.
I knew I wanted to explore the question, the biggest hurdle throughout the project has nailing down the scope of the game. In order to meet the deadlines a lot of gameplay and "Quality of Life" had to be forgone or scoped down. Despite this, the fundamental vision for the project endured.
